Fairy's Cave

"Perhaps... perhaps indeed..."

submission: Fairy's Cave
date: August 15, 2008

Bleh, music like this gets me all meditative, but lets be honest here, while links awakening was one of the better games in the series, I can honestly say I think the Wind Waker was better, mostly because of Dragon's Roost Island, that place has stuck with since forever. Anyway, I ramble, review time! As a background song, it ain't to bad, but if you begin to focus on it then it just becomes the three seconds of music over and over and over and over.... bleh. Guess that's why I just tried to get in, out and flee from a fairy cave asap when I played Links Awakening. Still it's good to see this up here, certainly fits in with the fairy local.

Hammerypart says: I didn't like Twilight Princess much though, to grim. Majora's Mask though... that was all kinds of cool. Good work and Cya 'round!

Author's Response:

Wind Waker was pretty fun. The music was very enjoyable. I do agree with ya there, I wanted to just get in and get out, because the music was pretty repetitive. I guess the only reason why I did this one is because there was hardly any Link's Awakening music submitted here. Thanks for the helpful review. =)

[DjBjra] - Military Storm

"Well, yon Darkslave-Master just stole my thunder."

date: August 4, 2008

Also he makes sense, is coherent AND brought up a lot of good issues, honestly, I feel totally out classed here.... Ah well! Eww! Toilet song! Heh, the eppifany toilet. I want one of those, it would make essay writing easier. Not sure what kinda millitary organization would use this, but when I start up my own back-yard nation this'll be my national anthem. Or maybe Gamer Forever will be the anthem and this'll be the millitaries theme. Anyways! Review time! Repetetive which is a bit dull but the experementation is nice. Like the trumpet(?) tones in at the start as well, although I thought the song was broke for a second because my speakers are so screwy that I had to jack them up to full volume to hear it properly.

Hammerypart says: Good song! Downloaded once my computer will download at rate better than 1h 24 mins. Heh. Cya 'round!

"Yayup, I be thinking I like this."

submission: [ Infiltration ]

However it does sound like a metroid song turned dance track, no offence. Especially the start, which I don't really like that much. Oh, and with the ending, at least it would loop well if'n ya deleted the last ten seconds o' silence, every cloud has a silver lining and what not. Anyways, fun to listen to, definatively the 3 step thing sounds cool (although frankly I have no idea what it means =P). Hmm, I appear to have done this the wrong way round, with the review at the top and the weird at the bottom, so, without further ado: FLAMING SQUIRELS ARE EATING MY LUNCH! There, that aught to do it.

Hammerypart says: Wooo! More dance to listen to! Favourited and downloaded when my computer stops trying to kill it's self every time I try to. Cya 'round!

Russia Privjet - F-777 mix

"Good luck sah!"

date: July 29, 2008

Mind you with this song, methinks that ya ain't gonna need it, looks like it's in the bag from this angle. Seriously though I've exhausted my random so tally ho to the review! And let's see if we can't get this wrapped up quickly. Severely good music is the first thing I want to say, though it doesn't really seem like it has much to with russia. Very distinctive background noises, and, while it does occasionally sound a tad generic there's no real point where it gets dull. On an unrealated note the angry faic goes really well with this song for reasons I can't quite fathom... Oh, and....ach, I'm not so good with the whole musical terms thing so I think I'll stop trying before I embarass myself. Whoops, to late. =P

Hammerypart says: Y'know, I think this song deserves a download, I'll do it! Carry on and I'll Cya 'round!

"Ahem! Now, I'm only gonna say this once..."

date: July 29, 2008

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Now then, six year old has been pushed to the back of my mind and real reviews shall commence. But I don't waaannnaa! Shush you, review first, food later! Help, help, I'm being repressed! Now where did a six year old learn a word like that? Uhh.... Good! He's stalled! Review! Now!

Certainly a very emotive song, far to quiet for my speakers but what I can hear I love, good choice on the instruments in the intro 'n' stuff, ya certainly seem pretty skilled, mind you I can't really identify instruments so for all I know you could only be playing one... arrrrrgh! This songs trying to make me sound all emotional, I swear, it's gonna drive me insane. In a good way.

Hammerypart says: Now; there was very little review actually in there but what I really wanted to says was: Hugs for Semy! Aaaaand that's me finished here I think... Cya 'round!

BUT! One more thing, let's see if you get this reference: MY GOD! IT'S FULL OF STARS! If ya do then that's what I see playing during that moment.

(Psst! It's from 2001 A Space Odyssey)

July 29, 2008

Author's Response:

that was a little bit to english for my german brain xD

but I really thank you for that amazing review =D

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! *Applause*"

date: July 25, 2008

I be liken this song! It's got class and a half! I mean everyone's been sending me really class songs to listen to. I mean how awesome is that? Maybe I'll go on more month hiatuses in the future... nah. Not worth it. still I should review the stuff I've got now right? Not the fastest in the world, but certainly good for me, very catchy I can't get it outta my head! And it's got piano in it as well! Double joy! It's a weird thing isn't it? Don't like classical but like piano... hmm. Very subdued at the start as well, I like that, leads to greater things, most people just bung the best stuff in at the start and the end get's weak but with you the song remains strong throughout.

Hammerypart says: Hey, that turned out fairly coherent! Jackpot! And that was my last stored song to review, ah well. Cya 'round! Gonna go find more songs!

Thanks for the nice, long review man!

"Certainly a good thing ya got going here."

date: July 25, 2008

BUT! The ninetee's ain't over yet, the songs'll hang around until the end of time. Which will be annoying. Still worse have happened though. Like these infernal flys in room, that's it. I'm gonna go find the source. Be right back.....HaHA! Got the blighters! Now then. Oh yeah, review. Not the best piece I've ever heard, methinks ya gonna need to wait a bit more for a chart-topper and most people like vocals in their music as well... heathens. D= Anyways, I know a person who managed to make a CD of his own, I'll ask what company he got to help him but no promises if he'll talk to me, we ain't on the best of terms. Ah well...

Hammerypart says: Keep up da good work! ENJOYED! And finally: Cya 'round!

July 25, 2008

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review man. If you can get me into contact with a company that can make cd's I'll talk with them.

The Last Virtue [COLLAB]

"It's a good 'un. I'll say that for ya."

date: July 25, 2008

The previous title has been sponsered by Hammerypart, I hope you enjoyed that brief break of weird before the main story, lets get cracking! On a vaguely related note, I've been listening to to much dance/trance recently, I keep on expecting this to suddenly rocket into hyper fast mode, but I'm getting used to it. I like your styles mixed, I can really kinda split whats been done by who, it's pretty cool. Sounds like a fair brilliant theme song for some boss in real life, can't see it happening though. Ah well... sorry, I'm not to good at reviewing Hip-Hop, still I'll try and improve like you seem to be doing.

Hammerypart says: Well, I'm about halfway done with the backlog, still a ways to go in review land. Good luck with your future stuff! Cya 'round!

"Dude... I missed out, ah well."

date: July 25, 2008

Still I got to the party before all the drunks found the door way! Wait, haven't I used that joke-thing before? Ach, not the point, the point is that it sounds freaking badass! I want to hug it to death! It's like the theme to an insane Trance Lord's Lair Of Dooooooom! (TM). Hell , I might volunteer for the job. Liking the guitar(?) bits at the start at later on. Lends origionality to a song in an overcrowded genre. That and the "oh noes! The machine broke! Quick! Get the guitar bit again!" Heh, made me smile. finally, the title's a bit redundant 'cause anyone who listens'll remember it. It's got that kinda quality to it.

Hammerypart says: Ah. Ya see, this is why I like reviewing, when gems like this come along I can give the creator a virtual pat on the back. Oh and thanks for the PM, means a lot to me. Cheers and Cya 'round!

July 25, 2008

Author's Response:

Yay! I <3 virtual Pats xD

Thanks man! I had a problem with that machine. So I improvised with my guitar. I ended up oiling it, then twisting a few nuts (lawl) and it all came back :D

A Silver Kiss

"Well everyone around here seems to be all helpful."

submission: A Silver Kiss
date: July 25, 2008

Dude, my review is gonna be totally surplus to requirements what with every one around here being helpful, I mean I swear I leave for about a lifetime and then all these helpful, constuctive reviews pop up, I mean, dude!? Rant aside; tally ho! Hugs for song! Hand made equals good, sure a few faults'll appear but for a casual listener (like me) it really adds a sense of awe that some one can be bothered to put in all the effort for a bunch internet goers like us. Makes me smile ya know? Methinks a welcome departure from most of the trance I've heard. It pays to have slow stuff on your MP3 occasionally, even if it is just so your brain doesn't melt.

Hammerypart says: Well, my reviews are getting a bit less poorly, see if we can't crank up the quality a bit more, wish me luck! Oh, and Cya 'round!
